Vintage pinstripe jacket with custom pearl pin and pearl adornment
Garment : A brown, beige & blue pinstripe jacket adorned with reclaimed pearls. There is also a pin with mother of pearl, a cowrie shell & a cross-shaped pearl set into silver by me in my studio.
The pearl set in silver is a piece of jewellery in its own right. The pin is a vintage upholstery pin which is part of a sentimental family collection, & as such is precious.
I have adorned pearls over a few minor marks to the fabric. The jacket is otherwise in excellent condition. I have also replaced the original buttons with mismatched antique buttons (mother of pearl & metal)
This is the only garment in the world that looks like this.
Garment material : 60% viscose - 40% polyester.
Origin : I cannot date this jacket from the original label.
Garment was made in the UK.
Colour : brown fabric with a blue & beige alternating pinstripe.
Garment condition : Excellent.
Care : dry clean only (P) This item can be gently spot cleaned with natural soap if necessary. Pin can be removed if needed.
