BIWA Pearl ring

A single vintage Biwa pearl set in silver.

Biwa pearls are naturally irregular in form, & beautifully iridescent. They are native to freshwater mussels from lake Biwa in Japan.

As no two pearls are the same, please note that each one will be of similar proportions to the pearl shown, but not identical.

For reference, the approximate length of the pearl shown is 22mm.
