Ammonite choker 02 - Palmworks X Haus of Moss and Moon

£138.00
One-in-the-world

A one-in-the-world object, crafted by Palmworks & HOM+M.

SEDNA is a deep navy-coloured satin choker, with fabric reconstructed from a vintage garment. The ammonite is fixed at the centre, with a cluster of hand-embellished reclaimed pearls adorning the satin.

Ammonites are powerful symbols of evolution, cycles, and ancient earth wisdom. The Ammonites in this collection date back to the Cretaceous Period, around 120 million years ago, and were found in the jungles of Mahajanga on the North West Coast of Madagascar. Each ancient fossil reveals its internal chambers in striking detail, natural spirals and crystallised pockets, and some even have inclusions of Pyrite. These Ammonites have been ethically sourced and then halved and polished in The Cotwolds, UK.
